Is it a religion?I was born into the Blue party and into Catholicism and I had to get from under those alters in my life.Jesus didn’t come for a religion. He came for a direct relationship with each and every one of us. He loves us. He literally died for us. Religion confines our minds… get in your Bible and your mind will be renewed and you will see differently. I mean the world literally changes around you and once you see it, you cannot unsee it.Open your mind and join me on this journey of Faith in Politics. Let’s knock a devil out together. Episode 8: Connecting The Dots

Connecting dots of events happening in New Orleans so you can “see” what’s happening spiritually.The recall, the 9 month drought, some “churches” are losing followers, the Catholic Church is under judgement, our living conditions are oppressive, the fog, the river, our children are rebelling, blood shed in the streets and more…. Are we paying attention?I also add some responsibilities of the administration so you can know who does what with clarity.Per the Home Rule Charter of the city of New Orleans, these are responsibilities of the mayor.The Mayor shall have the power and shall be required to:(e) Study, devise, and implement programs to improve housing and neighborhood conditions in the City.(f) Study, devise, and implement programs to foster economic development in the City.(g) Provide for cooperation and coordination among criminal justice agencies and officials.When we humble ourselves as a community, we will see change and until then… we kinda asked for it by being out of the will of God for our lives.

Prophetic Word: We must repent and turn back to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Jesus was a Jew. Our God is the God of Israel. Jesus was NOT in the majority. Remember they killed Him.Don’t get the okie doke from the devil. This is a spiritual battle of good and evil. Jesus came from the tribe of Judah, the Gaza land was designated to them by the Lord in Joshua 15:47. This is a battle of good and evil.Pray the Lord’s Will is done and pray for ALL innocent people. Picking a side may have you on the wrong side of the Lord and that’s between you and God. I’m sent to warn. There is so much confusion and we MUST speak truth.““The Lord was very angry with your fathers. Therefore say to them, Thus declares the Lord of hosts: Return to me, says the Lord of hosts, and I will return to you, says the Lord of hosts. Do not be like your fathers, to whom the former prophets cried out, ‘Thus says the Lord of hosts, Return from your evil ways and from your evil deeds.’ But they did not hear or pay attention to me, declares the Lord. Your fathers, where are they? And the prophets, do they live forever? But my words and my statutes, which I commanded my servants the prophets, did they not overtake your fathers? New Orleans Civics 101: Who is suppose to be doing what? This short live breaks down the responsibilities of the City Council and the mayor.The City Charter provides for a Strong Mayor-Council form of government. In this method the mayor is given by charter a large degree of control and responsibility.… meaning more often than not all roads lead to the mayor.We have 3 branches of government:Legislative, Judicial and Executive.The legislative arm of government is responsible for making or enactment of laws, as distinguished from the Judicial arm, which interprets and applies the laws, and the Executive Department, which carries the laws into execution and effect."The mayor is required to study, devise and implement programs to improve housing, neighborhood conditions, implement programs to foster economic development, and provide for cooperation and coordination among criminal justice agencies and officials.*** Correction*** It was a 2/3 vote to override the Pontalba usage and it was investigative authority over the removal of the communications director … slip of the tongue

Happy Birthday to me - All Saints Day. I thought I needed to share some clarity on who the saints are on today because so many have been deceived - including me. (Bible verses included)The followers of Jesus Christ are the saints. We are NOT dead.Praying to the dead is necromancy. Honoring people for what they have done is one thing… praying to them is another.I know this may be a shock to many and it was to me because this is NOT what I was taught BUT its the Word of the Lord and you and I were deceived.Truth is truth….
